BAM Racing Functional Parachute System
Product Overview
The BAM Racing Functional Parachute System is a fully functional parachute deployment system designed specifically for Power Wheels and other small-scale race vehicles. Unlike decorative parachute bags, the BAM Racing system is designed to actually deploy the parachute during a pass.
Deployment Bag
- Custom, hand-stitched, high-quality deployment bag
- Bag houses the complete deployment mechanism
- Bag and stitching colors can be customized to complement your vehicle/build
Deployment System
- 4" × 4" project box serves as the deployment housing
- 4" spring provides the force needed to push the deployment plate and deploy the parachute
- Push plate is retained using rivets and stainless-steel fender washers
- Designed to accommodate a 54" parachute
Included Accessories
- String included to assist with feeding the parachute's suspension lines/ears into the deployment bag
- Safety pin with "REMOVE BEFORE FLIGHT" tag
Parachute & Color Options
A variety of parachute and deployment-bag color combinations will be available.
Options may include:
- Solid-color parachutes
- Rainbow/multicolor parachutes
- Custom color combinations
- Deployment bags and stitching matched to complement the vehicle
Color availability is subject to current material availability.
Deployment Line
A deployment line and quick-connect attachment system may be included with the finished kit. Final line length, attachment method, and anchoring system are currently being evaluated to provide a safe and convenient method for deployment.
Product Philosophy
The BAM Racing Functional Parachute System was developed from the ground up for actual use on the track. It combines the appearance of a traditional parachute setup with a functional deployment system designed specifically for small-scale racing applications.
